- Change your address with USPS.
- Update your driver license and vehicle registration with NCDMV.
- Confirm water, sewer and solid-waste providers for your parcel — these differ inside and outside city limits.
- Set up electricity and gas with the providers serving your address.
- Get a library card from Charlotte Mecklenburg Library.
- Register to vote with your new address.
